Relevance of our interventions<\/h3>\n

IRIS Mundial\u2019s activities help to reduce blindness prevalence and vision impairment among impoverished people, thereby they improve their quality of life and their participation in the socio-economic development of their community.<\/p>\n

Where we work<\/h3>\n

Since 2001, at the initiative of Dr. Jean-Pierre Tchang, optometrist, IRIS Mundial volunteers participated in more than 20 humanitarian projects in eye care, mainly in Haiti and Peru, but also in Senegal, Mexico, Benin, Mozambique and India..<\/p>\n
