IRIS Mundial’s team is back from Miragoane – Haiti, and the mission was a great success. Our dynamic team of 28 Canadian and Haitian volunteers (ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, a medical doctor, nurses and assistants) saw over 1,700 patients in desperate need of eye exams, prescription eyewear, sunglasses and eye medications. A big thank you to all the volunteers for their generosity, determination and exceptional dedication!
