To highlight his limitless generosity and commitment to IRIS Mundial projects, the Jean-Pierre Tchang Award was created in 2009 to reward the volunteer whose contribution stands out in any given year. For 2012, as part of the annual meeting of IRIS Mundial volunteers held in St-Adolphe d’Howard, the Jean-Pierre Tchang recognition prize was presented to Dr. Lyne Paré. The implication of Dr Paré is exceptional; she has participated as a volunteering physician in 13 humanitarian trips with IRIS Mundial, notably, each traditional mission since her initial participation in 2002. It is with great joy that IRIS Mundial recognizes Lyne – sincerely appreciating her dedication and availability. Thanks to her invaluable involvement, Lyne has helped many patients improve their quality of life.
