For 25 years now, IRIS Mundial has been working to improve access to eye care for vulnerable communities around the world. Thanks to the dedication of hundreds of volunteers, partners, and donors, more than 125,000 people have received eye care that has transformed their daily lives—and, in some cases, their futures.
To mark this important milestone, IRIS Mundial will host an anniversary event on May 30, 2026, under the theme “25 Years, 125,000 Faces.”
At the heart of this celebration: an immersive photo exhibition highlighting the faces, stories, and human impact behind the missions carried out over the past quarter-century. Through a series of photographs and touching stories, visitors will be invited to discover the realities of the communities encountered in the field and the transformations made possible through international solidarity.
The event will take the form of a welcoming opening reception bringing together volunteers, partners, community members, and the general public. A reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the afternoon, while a silent auction to benefit IRIS Mundial’s mission will help support future projects.
Beyond being a celebration, this event is also intended as an opportunity to recognize all those who have contributed, in one way or another, to advancing the organization’s mission over the past 25 years.
Every ticket sold directly supports this vital mission: to provide better vision—both literally and figuratively—to people who lack access to eye care.
