To highlight its generosity and great commitment to IRIS Mundial projects, the Jean-Pierre Tchang Award was created in 2009 to reward the volunteer whose contribution stands out. For 2017, during the IRIS Mundial Annual Volunteers’ meeting which was held in Wentworth-Nord, the Jean-Pierre Tchang prize was presented to Mrs Monique Prud’homme.
Monique is an authentic, resourceful, cheerful, motivated, determined, funny, devoted and sensitive person. She is the little ant, working away in the background, without needing any recognition. In addition to being a member of the Materiel Management Committee, she often goes to the warehouse alone to sort the material on rainy days. In addition, she is in charge of training the Cap-Emploi group for sorting glasses. Thanks to Monique, this generous volunteer, for all the many hours spent at the warehouse preparing equipment for the missions!
