Our mission is to provide quality preventive and curative optometric, optical and ophthalmological services to populations in developing countries and to people in need in Canada.

Our one-time projects

Provide the first ever ophthalmic services to disadvantaged people in a region where no services are available.

Our permanent programs

Our Programs for the Prevention and Fight against Blindness (PPFB) aim to offer a quality comprehensive eye care system to the most disadvantaged population located in isolated areas.

Our trainings

Facilitate privileged exchanges on new surgical techniques and eye examinations between our professional volunteers and local vision professionals in the targeted areas through continuing education.

Aboriginal people in Canada

Considering that access to visual care is more difficult for some populations in Canada, IRIS Mundial wishes to become more inclusive and has decided to implement new activities to improve access to visual care for people in need here in our country…

A donation of $72,400 has been made by IRIS! February 2018 was IRIS Mundial Month in all IRIS stores across Canada. For each pair of eyeglasses sold during this special month, a donation of $10 was made to IRIS Mundial contributing to the grand total of $67,400!...
